Our Greenway has been actively pursuing a comprehensive cargo bike conference in partnership with Fully Charged Live Show (September 8-10 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West). Following months of industry consultation, Our Greenway has decided to restructure this year's event as the North American Cargo Bike Conference - Industry Roundtable & Workshop to be held at Fully Charged Live in Vancouver on September 9, 2023!

All New Format! Our day will begin with a morning Roundtable session (1.5 to 2 hrs) with industry partners - many of whom were lined up to speak at the proposed conference. Following a lunch break, there will be an afternoon Workshop to address the “Future of Cargo Bikes and Cycle Logistics in North America”, and what we will need to happen to realize this future (1.5 to 2 hrs). Topics will range from size of the market, existing operations, manufacturing and service, scalability, regulations and more. Cargo Bike exhibits will be on display and we anticipate a dozen or more exhibitors showcasing their Cargo Bike solutions (displays open throughout Fully Charged Live).
The NACBC is inviting participation by way of attending and exhibiting to help make the event a success and set the table for future events. Our Greenway will share results from the event in the form of a ‘State of the Industry’ academic report through our partnership with York University’s CITY Institute.
After the Roundtable and Workshop, participants will be invited to test ride cargo bikes and micro mobility devices on the Fully Charged Live test tracks in Jack Poole Plaza.
Important Note: Our 2023 event will now be held in-person only at the Vancouver Convention Centre West at Fully Charged Live. For those who want to contribute to this program and workshop but are unable to be present in person, please contact us at [email protected] and [email protected].

The NACBC was greatly inspired by the International Cargo Bike Festival (ICBF), which will also be co-locating with Fully Charged LIVE Europe at RAI Amsterdam on November 24-26, 2023. Both the NACBC and ICBF are committed to enabling cargo bike adoption to grow by supporting efforts to boost public awareness of cargo bikes as space saving, greenhouse gas free and social tools to move goods and people.
